Sunset Hills welcomes events of all kinds—weddings, special events and private parties. If marriage is on your mind, several sites are available for weddings. Couples who prefer the plush lawns of the fairways are invited to say their vows in one of two spots just a short stroll from the clubhouse. If you’re planning a big wedding, then the best place to tie the knot is in a flat green valley that affords ample room for theater-style seating. More intimate ceremonies take place at the crest of a little hill beneath overarching alder branches.

If you envision a more formal atmosphere for your event, then bring your festivities inside the Sunset Hills Ballroom, located on the Clubhouse’s upper level. A capacious L-shaped space with a parquet dance floor, the Ballroom has an inviting arching adobe-style fireplace, making it an ideal venue for weddings and social events. Luminous spherical chandeliers illuminate the light-colored walls, imparting a tasteful elegance. If your event calls for more room, a movable wall rolls easily aside, allowing the Ballroom and the Lounge to combine into a single large room overlooking the patio and pool.

FEES AND DEPOSITS
A nonrefundable deposit, which is applied to your food and beverage total, is required to reserve your date. The amount of the deposit is equal to 25% of the estimated event total. 50% is due six months prior, and 100% of the final estimated balance is due 10 days prior to the event date. Meals start at $24.99/person. Wedding packages start at $48.99/person. Tax, alcohol and a 20% service charge are additional. There is a $600 charge for the ceremony package, which includes use of the outdoor space, a lattice arch, runner, white chairs, dressing rooms, complimentary beverage and setup/cleanup.
